EXT. LOADING AREA - SCHOOL - DAY
The goth kids are hanging out as usual, smoking cigarettes and listening to goth music on a boom box. The girl is writing poetry.
Stan comes walking up with his hands in his pockets.
STAN
Hey guys. Uh... You guys know how to dance, right?
GOTH KID 2
Of COURSE we know how to dance.
STAN
Cool, because there's this competition on Saturday, and I have to find the very best dancers in South Park to be on my crew. My friends can't do it because they suck ass so, will you be in my dance troop?
GOTH KID 1
Dance troupe?! PLEASE.
(hair)
We don't dance like those Britney and Justin wanna bes at school.
(hair)
Goth kids dance to express pain and suffering.
GOTH KID 2
(getting up)
Yeah. The only COOL way to dance is to keep your hands at your sides at your eyes looking at the ground. Then every three seconds you take a drag on your cigarette.
The music on the boom box inexplicably gets louder as we watch the kid do his 'Goth Dance'.
His dance is just what he explained. He stays looking at the ground while keeping his hands at his sides and takes a drag on his cigarette every three seconds.
Now the Goth kids all start dancing the exact same way.
STAN
Okay, that'll work fine! Listen, there's a dance competition this Saturday and I need good dancers so I don't get served.
The kids all stop dancing and go back to their seated positions with their cigarettes.
GOTH KID 1
No way.
(hair in face)
Dancing is something you do ALONE, in your room at three in the morning.
STAN
PLEASE you guys, our whole town's reputation is at stake! Won't ANY of you do it.
GOTH KID 1
I'M not doing it.
(hair in the face)
Being in a dance group is totally conformist!
(hair in the face)
PAN OVER to the goth girl.
GOTH GIRL
Yeah, I'm not conforming to some dance off regulations.
PAN OVER to the goth little kid.
GOTH LITTLE KID
I'm not doing it either. I'm the biggest non-conformist of all!
Finally, PAN OVER to the skinny tall Goth kid, who looks at the others for several seconds and thinks.
GOTH KID 2
I'm SUCH a non-conformist, that I'm not going to conform with the rest of YOU. Okay I'll do it.
STAN
Great!
The tall lanky goth kid walks off with Stan. The other goth kids just sit there
GOTH GIRL
Woa... I think we just got put in our place...
GOTH KID 1
Yeah... We just got Goth served.
