Thanks for that. After my aluminum fascia cover blew off I nailed it onto the front of the fascia board. That's how the roofers installed it...

My question for you, Vinyl siding institute, is: can there ever be a siding joint above a door or window? For I am presently, siding my two story home. Can I have lap joints in the siding, once I am 2 or 3 or 4 rows above the window? And is there a minimum amount of rows
