Geodes are amazing you can have some ideas because location found and form but they are always truly a surprise that you truly don't know what types of crystals will be inside.

As a dealer in the gem and mineral business this is one of the ways I recommend people don't open their Geodes. I always tell people once you pay for it, you can do whatever your heart desires. But me, I'm kind of a purist with gems and minerals. I prefer them to display their full potential rather than being a pretty rock with an eye sore. 😂 It's for value purposes too. Glad to see you like rocks, if you're ever in Arizona on I10 stop in and I'll take care of you so you got something dope for your collection.

I work for an antique business, we sell a lot of vintage costume jewelry. I was digging through like a 15lb bin junk jewelry the other day, was gonna bulk list it for like $300. See a ring in there that just has that special look. Scratch, acid, what do ya know, 14k solid and unmarked. The ring alone sold for $345.
