I bought the Action 2 to replace my Go 2 when it was destroyed by dropping it (a long way, admittedly). My conclusion is that if all you need is the Go 2, then it's a great little camera. If you need a bit more in most respects, the Action 2 is excellent. But - as with all these devices - you need to pick the right tool for the job in hand. There's no 'best'.

Exactly my experience, I own both and keep grabbing Go2 on 9 occasions out of 10 (1 occasion being shooting 120fps slow-mo). Already nipped the Action2, bought a protective case, still worried about it every time.

I have seen the Action 2 used in vlogging, the field of view is too wide. If the vlogger's hand comes close to the camera it will be way bigger than the head.

If you already have an action cam, the Go2 can do things the action cam CAN’T already do. . . at a great price! If you don’t have an action cam, I recommend buying the sturdy Osmo action original AND the Go 2. You’d be in the same price range.

Image quality is such a deal breaker for me. I wouln’t even throw an action camera like that in the first place. Action 2 for me!!!

Yes. such a fragile "aktion" cam. Will say. Were is the use ? What can action 2 that a hig end smartphone cant do. The both breaks if we use them for action. Sometime i think, developers sit with there head up in there ass.
Whit a homerun in first hit, A1 Then go for a break, and let other team win. Do think, its the last cam they put out for "action"
