2020 Lexus RX Review

Lexus has been around for 30 years and in that time, the brand has built a steady reputation for its high quality, luxury cars. First-generation Lexuses are still on the road today, soaking up the miles with nary a squeak and a rattle.

And while those early Lexus models were well received, it’s the Lexus RX that turned into one of the most popular vehicles. This comes thanks to the RX’s just-right size and cushy driving dynamics, not to mention the fact that back in 2008 it offered a hybrid powertrain when none of its competitors did. The competition has since caught up and even surpassed the Lexus RX in many ways, but buyers are still favoring the Japanese luxury crossover. For 2020, it’s getting an update that ensures it stays on top of its segment for good.

When we bought our 2018 Lexus RX450h about a year ago, we’ve looked and drove almost every vehicle you could think of in this class including the Audi Q7, Acura MDX, Volvo XC90, Jaguar, BMW X5, and more. We did a lot of research and this car out stands all the completion not by a large margin, but noticeable and it comes with bulletproof reliability.

I drive one for a while now. When you get used to a Lexus RX, it will be really hard to drive something else. Other cars look rough and noisy.

horse power doesn’t really mean anything when u in a refined and luxurious car like this u supposed to worry about cruising not racing and a lot of relaxation am just saying because when u in one of these cars u don’t worry about the competition

I'm on my 3rd Lexus RX- first Hybrid. These are some of the best, most reliable cars on the road. Much better than BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Cadillac, etc. Nice review buddy!

The RX is not good looking, but they are extremely comfortable and dead on reliable, I know many people that have his and hers RXs and I have one neighbor that has 3 RXs, 2 GXs and a GS, deeply committed to the brand.

you poorly review this 2020 rx. You focus on something that people already know such as horse power, comfort, drive mode, these stuffs are almost the same as the 2019 model. You should focus on the big changes such as touch screen console infotainment system, advance lane keep assist, ..etc.

That is why Lexus last is because they are not putting a lot of horse power on their vehicle, less than 100 HP per liter, why add HP when you are can only drive 70-80 MPH legally on US roads.

You mentioned an “extended” wheel base version. The RXL has a longer body on the same wheel base.

I own the 2013 Rx 350 and it has 270hp which is pretty fast and has a lot of wheel power

This is one seriously lovely family vehicle. It oozes class and comfort. Currently working a deal with my local Lexus dealership for one. Hope to close soon. Want to take my wife and kids around town in style.
