Personally I like laptops better because they can still perform well as well as you don't have to spend a lot of money on a monitor because it's already built in. Same with the keyboard.

Long term a gaming desktop will pay for itself you can have longer gaming sessions since thermal throttling isn’t much of issue, A gaming laptop is convenient for its portability but suffers from lack of airflow and gaming sessions would probably be shorter and you would have to let it cool down between games

Honestly it depends on how much money you want to spend because with the pc you need to get a monitor and other items like a mouse and keyboard and the laptop has a monitor and keyboard already

Wouldn't exactly reccomend the 4070 Ti i think the rx 7800 xt is a better option
