Just finished with admissions and got accepted under microbiology for both Berkeley and UCSD, but I don’t know which one to choose. I know UCSD has more opportunities for research, but the connections you can make at Berkeley are invaluable. I can’t make up my mind. I didn’t even think I had a shot in hell to get into Berkeley, but now life is making things difficult.

I graduated from UCSB in 1982. Things were less competitive back then, jobs were much more available upon graduation. Still, it took a great effort to shine and I'm so glad I worked my butt off academically and socially.

I’m torn between Uci and UCSB... I’m admitted as a psychological science major in the school of social ecology at Uci and pre psychological and brain science at UCSB... I’m a transfer student and I seriously don’t know where I want to go...
