Attack of Russian Nuclear Submarines

Russia has one of the most powerful nuclear submarine fleets in the world.
Borei-class submarines are the most modern Russian nuclear submarines. Currently, there are six of them, and six more are expected to be built in the coming years. Each submarine is equipped with sixteen Bulava ballistic missiles, which carry six nuclear warheads per missile. If launched simultaneously, 96 missiles will be fired from the ocean towards major US cities. Once in the air, the missile will separate into six warheads each, meaning that there will be a total of 576 warheads in the air. All warheads have advanced missile defense evasion capabilities. Even if only 50 warheads reach their targets, the casualties will be tremendous.
