In Denmark, when you become a new mom, your nurse will create a mothers’ group with 5-8 other moms and their babies born around the same time in your area. You then meet with them around once a week, taking turns to host the meeting. It is a good way for moms to meet new friends.

You’re not boring Abby…you find true joy in the little things in life, which is an incredible thing. I could learn a thing or 2 from you even at 43 years old! 😊

It’s so sweet to watch a husband ask his wife such intentional questions and then listen to her so intently. I love this 🥹

I looove that Abby spoke about having “me time” while folding laundry or something. It’s so true! It’s obviously not your absolute passion but since I’ve become a mom sometimes “me time” means dishes during a nap lol. I love that she’s just being real and honest even when other people disagree

What gets me about social media "housewives" is that they enjoy what they're doing so much because they are privileged enough to be able to afford to have fun doing it. The rest of us are doing it out of survival. Let me explain.. most social media influencers have both parents home and these guys on top of that have endless help from supportive grandparents. And on top of that are financially secure enough to do all of that relatively stress free without the extra pressures of having to figure out how to do it all well on a tight budget. I personally am yes, blessed to stay home with my kids. But it comes at a cost. My husband works endlessly, literally never home, so I am basically always solo parenting, which in itself is exhausting. Why am I doing the dishes and laundry? Because nobody else is going to do them. Why am I cooking? Because my kids need to eat. It's not because I "love it" it's because it needs to be done. It would be easy to love doing all of those things if I had another parent home and grandparents ready to take my kids at any moment. So it's hard to hear an influencer gush over how much they love everything.. because yeah, I would love everything too if I had the right support and resources to do it well. The rest of us are living in survival mode getting everything done just to get by. It's hard to explain. But social media influencers are always talking about how "hard" it is to be parents, but they don't even get a taste of what it is like for most of us out there. My husband had to go back to work WHILE I WAS STILL IN THE HOSPITAL. He literally brought me home and then had to go back to work. Because he has to provide so that we can live. Not live in abundance, but just to survive. We are not the same.

I haven't been listening to podcasts for a while but I finally got to sit down and paint and listen to this and I feel so inspired by Abby and her enthusiasm and joy in life, I am an optimistic happy person most of the time but I sometimes find myself being lazy and have low motivation and stuck in the scrolling hole, I've read a lot of the mean comments you guys get on Tiktok and it makes me so mad to the point where I'm overly invested so I'm just so happy that Abby is as happy and able to turn that off and definitely has reminded me to shut out the noise of the internet! I feel like being really productive now ;) thank you guys for that!

Plastic surgery has so many negative side effects with autoimmune disease and illnesses. It can be pretty serious. Make an informed decision when evaluating!!

You guys are a breath of fresh air. I've loved being home with my kids but took a bit of flack for it or judgements over the years but I wouldn't change it for the world. Kids are a joy to be around and it's nice to see other's appreciate children. Congratulations on your new house! Love your conversations you are great role models for other's.

Love the way Abby explained moms wanting more kids. I didn't know how to explain it like that. I am done, and it is so hard for me at times. My oldest just turned 18 and I need someone to talk to. It is so hard to see your babies grow. But.. Also, SO FUN!!!

Abbey I totally relate to you! I always wanted to be a mom first and foremost! I was a stay-at-home mom most of the time and I loved it! We have three children (wanted more but health wise we couldn't) and now we have 12 Grand children! Blessed 💗
