A man was shot Friday morning outside of Whole Foods in Streeterville.

CPD believes a 50-year-old man and an unknown gunman were having a verbal altercation outside of the store in the 200 block of East Grand Avenue. At some point, the suspect pulled out a firearm and shot the 50-year-old in the left shoulder.

An all-clear was given by Chicago police in the area, but no one is in custody. CPD said a gun was recovered from the scene and a person of interest is being questioned, but no arrests have been made.

WGN's Angelica Sanchez reports on the story.
