Sorry to say but the community doesn't talk because of the disconnect between law enforcement and the people in these communities. These homicide detectives don't want to solve nothing unless the information is handed to them. Everyone is feed up with this bs no matter the age group. Police get mad at people for not talking but at the same time they have to live in that community. These people may have family that they need to take care of. You combined that with the disconnect this is the result that you get. At the end of the day the community leaders and police need to realize it's not no body job to fight crime but the police.
