Sir, can we use Django for developing enterprise applications?
As I'm little bit confused between Spring and Django, means what should I opt(Spring or Django).
PS - I'm familiar with both java and Python

Apart from Kotlin there are other child languages like Scala, Closure, Groovy and many others which came from java.. But Java is still second most popular language. There are thousands of companies which are Java specific. There are lacs of project which are written in Java which are currently in use.. This means there is something with Java which still insists Developers to use it inspite of long code... Java will always be the first choice for core Developers.. Infact, I m coding in Java for past 4 years and will continue with it.. Kotlin is for the newcomers, the one who are not very comfortable with deep aspects of Java like programming..

The only language which can affect Java is Python. Because it community is growing fast. Many emerging companies and startups are using Python due to its large developer community..

Conclusion: If you have very good programming insights, go with Java. If you are a newcomer, then go with kotlin...

More code in Java makes it clear as reading an English book, especially when using intellisense which simplify things, whereas abbreviations force programmers to memorize words instead of just reading words, same as old C (getc, gets...)
Unfortunately, I feel uncomfortable with Kotlin syntax, I hope they introduce some modification to help people to shift to Kotlin easily, same way with Microsoft when it invented C#.
