Here at Nicks Handmade Boots our work leathers can be broken into three categories: Classic MaxSupport, 1964 Easy Break-In, and the brand new Nicks WeatherShield Leathers! Each type of leather comes in a variety of colors, so you can find exactly what you're looking for. All of our leathers are extremely durable and up to the job at hand. Check out as we test them against water, oil and abrasion.

While most boots are meant to be thrown away after a few months, Nicks are built to last. When your boots start to need some servicing, you can send them in to have them resoled or completely rebuilt! Nicks Handmade Boots are serviceable and last years longer than a mass-produced boot. Since 1964, Nicks has been making the highest quality boots on the market, right here in Spokane Washington. If you're tired of your old work boots wearing out, upgrade to Nicks and enjoy the most comfortable boots on the market.

These videos have made me feel 200% better about choosing the right boot. I wasn't sure about which type of leather was best for me. You guys have gone above and beyond on youtube to help us newbies to higher end boots understand what we need. I think it would be awesome for you to offer each stain as something we could purchase to hide scuffs and scratches

That 1964 leather is amazing. I live in Western Colorado where it’s really dry, with the occasional stream and waterfall. All that oil in the ‘64 is going to help keep my boots from drying out and cracking too early.

So many more options since I placed my order a month or so ago. Now I have to ponder my chooses and reconsider. More options are nice and shows business is growing. 💪

Got a quick question for you.
Does the weather shield still let your foot breathe with all the silicone in it

Need to add Chromexcel for custom work boots. It ages and wears like fine wine.

I'm getting close to the point of ordering my first pair of Nick's. This really helps me with the leather choice. Pretty sure the 1964 Walnut is what I'd go for. As stated in the video, it will all look similar given some time.
I do have a question for anyone that can help with the following: I currently wear Carolina Loggers (composite toe required for work) in 11.5 2E. Does anyone have any experience in how these will line up with Nick's sizing? It's looking like it's recommended I go down a 1/2 size for a snug fit as I have now, but would love to hear from someone that has had these before. It's going to be a HUGE step up in quality, and price, so I'd like to do it right the first time.
Edit: I'm looking at going with the Builder Pro.

Does the watershield leather require a different silicone based conditioner? Or is it the same care products you always recommend?

Why don’t you offer the builder pro with a wedge sole for quick ship?

Great video. I have wondered about the toughness of the 1964 leather. The silicon infused is very interesting. Will you be making another video on the heritage leathers?

any heritage non work leather options coming in the near future? Would love to see some chrompak or other oily heritage leathers in the future.

I live in Arizona Desert. I wonder if the Watershield would actually hold up better since the silicon will help keep the oils? or would the 1964 be better since it is infused more? I have a lot of scratchies and sharp rocks where i go hiking/fishing
