Good review with useful sample footage. Question though - is there anyway of turning off that bowing / fish eye effect for example at 6:47 so that the buildings straight rather than curved?

What about taking pictures compared to GoPro Hero 4 Silver? I use the camera a lot not only for videos and was wondering about the Sony Chip performance

I got a two position balance charger in the package with my PRO package. Odd thing is the charger is designed for lower capacity batteries and the GitUp battery's do not fit... they are too large. So you have to charge in-camera... the only other gripe I have is you can't flip the video in camera like you can on some other action cams. So if your under a quad copter and you want to use the water proof housing for extra protection... your video is upside down. :( Other than that I am very happy with mine so far.

For what I would use one of these for, I went for the $104 Git2. There is no need for me to spend $400 for a GoPro. If I want higher quality video, I will use my DSLR. I did like the Disney shots.

I'm looking to replace my old GoPro Hero3 which is failing after a few good years of abuse.
