China's factory activity barely grew in September, while services slowed, The official manufacturing purchasing managers index rose last month to 50.1 from 49.4 in August. Any figure higher than 50 indicates expansion. The non-manufacturing gauge, which measures activity in the construction and services sectors, was 50.6, compared to 52.6 in August. Jacqueline Rong, deputy chief China economist at BNP Paribas, discusses what the latest figures say about the country's growth outlook. She speaks on "Bloomberg Markets: China Open."
