it is the bigger brother of the Honda XR150 I rode in Vietnam for 5000+ km. So much fun to ride on the XR and same build as the CRF. Next time I will also ride the CRF, as it has some more power. I rode the XR with 18 kg of luggage and my partner on the backseat (60 kg) and managed to conquer almost everything. Mountain roads, gravel, tarmac, road works, whatever thrown at you. Only when there is water, you will be wet too..:)) I did max. 400 km a day and with the XR, your bum starts to hurt.. :) But like you say, so much fun. I really enjoyed it and do not want another bike for Asian countries or when you know that you have to hit different terrains regularly. Offcourse, not made for fast riding, but that is not the purpose of this bike.

I couldn't disagree with you more. You're so off base about this bike inspiring confidence. This is the worst suspension I have ever encountered in my life, it is completely and constantly off-putting as it just looses traction and pogo's uncontrollably everywhere with ZERO rebound dampening. Wanna stop? FRONT END DIVES LIKE MAD! Traverse some terrain slowly? POGO TIME! The thing is literally dangerously undersprung. I would approach barely moderate obstacles that I just knew the bike would react ridiculously to. The week I swapped the suspension out my riding went through the roof, finally able to ride to my moderate capabilities and not bottom out on EVERYTHING and bounce uncontrollably off course. I can't think of a bike I've ever been on that's less confidence inspiring in fact, ESPECIALLY to a new, already nervous rider.
