How does the Boardman ADV perform on the road? I am on my ADV and my buddy is on a road bike, so no off road this time. And because it's a road ride, we of course stop for a coffee.

Hi You didn't mention how the 8.9 performed on the road and the feel of the bike which I thought was the purpose of this video. You only mentioned how it affected yourself fitness wise and compared it to mountain biking ?

I do like the Boardman bikes, got in touch with Halfords about the availability of one last week they couldn`t give me delivery date, ordered one off Ribble now

The exact same thing happened to my carbon Fork (same bike) the cable housing is wearing it down. I've put some back tape on the scar as a temp fix.

Boardman are great value bikes, the ADV 9.0 looks amazing and has got excellent reviews.

Slightly off topic, do you know what type of specialized helmet your buddy with the white bike was wearing?

Hey man is this a good bike to get as a road bike endurance, but used ocassionaly on graval trails and some random terrain. Mainly for fitniss and being in great outdoors!

Nice video, so how did you find your new bike on flat at consistent speed? Surely it’s quicker to peddle than MTB ?

its a shame you couldnt swap bikes so you could give your opinion on gravel vs road bike on the road and if the wider tyres make a difference in speed vs smoothness
