Massive Gator Swims Toward Girl Scout Troop in Lake

Terrifying video captures the moment a massive alligator approached a troop of Texas Girl Scouts swimming in a lake. A witness says the 14-foot alligator was in total "attack mode." Wren, Dealilah and Kylee were in the lake when the gator crept up to them. Dealilah's mom’s first thought when she saw the creature was to protect the girls. The Girl Scouts were able to get to safety. When the local sheriff arrived, the beach was ordered closed.

Definitively not in "attack mode". If it was hunting it would've approached submerged and would only be spotted once it was too late.

That gator was NOT in attack mode lol they move much quicker and stealthier. He was probably use to being feed by people and associates our presence with fish. Now that’s not to say they weren’t in danger because of course they were just not as much as they could of been

This is a situation where people feeding him paid off because if he was 100% wild and dissociated from people that would of been an ambush attack rather than a “lemme let them see me so I get some fish” scenerio

Gators don't Hunt like that. The gators get close to the their pray by swimming underwater.
