Nitecore Tube fix

Nitecore Tube broken positive battery lead on multiple flashlights. Four of eight Tube flashlights I purchased as gifts failed from the same issue. Now they all work. Before discarding non functional flashlights check for this problem. Also this issue will make the flashlights appear to be charging but in actuality can’t charge because there’s no connection to the battery.

Thanks so much for posting this video. Just fixed mine, it had exactly the same problem. Charging light on, but no output no matter how long I charged it for! Fixed using a binocular microscope and fine soldering tip. Under the microscope it was clear the positive lead had sheared off at the PCB solder joint junction. The remnant would seem to indicate it was well soldered at manufacture, so I suspect joint vibration fatigue was the issue. Wrapped the battery leads once around the board mounting post on reseating the battery to avoid a recurrence. Excellent info, thanks again.

My tube also had a wire that came off, I was going to throw it away but saw your video and I fixed it. 😀
