Meet Our UNC Children’s Pediatric Anesthesiology Team!

Shoutout to our amazing teammates in the @uncchildrens Pediatric Anesthesiology Division, including Taylor Grinstead, Child Life Specialist, and Elizabeth Willis, DO, Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellow! 💙 They go the extra mile to make sure every child feels comfortable and supported before surgery. For our little patients who might feel a bit nervous, they add a special touch by scenting the masks and letting the kiddos decorate them with stickers. 🎨✨We’re so grateful for all that they do!

I got my tonsils out when I was very young. The scent they put in my mask was citrus. I remember liking it so much I kept asking the nurse to put more in the mask.

I think a lot of us adults may need that. I guess what Im trying to say is adults need something extra as we can be very "extra" and usually have extra baggage. 🤪😱😳
