Another great video...you never disappoint Brian. A video at the same time every week for years I think is key. Like in the "old days" you would watch your favorite show on Thursday night at 9...I remember those days so I always tried to hit that mark. If I had done 2 videos a week I am not sure where I would be but I think I would have burned out. It's so much harder for good folks to break in now on YouTube. Great video as always Brian. One other thing I just noticed lately is, the YT algorithm seems to prefer longer videos. A 20mins video will do a lot better than a 5mins video especially if you're a smaller creator with no subs and your fate lying mainly on the palms of the algorithm. Goodluck to everyone though, we all crawl before we can walk.

I agree with you on all these points. I upload videos in the middle of the night sometimes and it don't matter at all. To many people listen to Mr Beasts advice but his advice don't really apply to most people on you tube. Canva is great... My opinion, If you like dogs and they like you, well then you have to be good people... keep feeding that poodle Brian.

👍 great advice Brian, sometimes fast videos can bring results that were not expected meanwhile the videos you work hard on for days, hardly moves the needle. We just have to keep uploading!

I try to upload once per week on the same day because that makes it easier for me. Since I'm a diy/craft channel a single video can take me days to record, then another half day for editing & thumbs etc. Great advice as always.

Tbh, I subscribed to your channel because you're saying a lot of facts and also no BS. Other so-called experts will just talk a lot of bs, and in the end, they'll ask for a fee to join their online course, so this kind of content turns me off. Hi Brian, I had shocking discovery when I left Japan for Finland and YouTube started recommending my videos more immediately. And not only that my 4 k quality videos gets good quality even on shorts. And we have sufficient 4k upload speed in Japan so I lucked out and got rid of compression in Finland . Going to use this opportunity in full here before going back will upload my upcoming Japan autumn videos while in Finland. One thing bothers me and hoping to get advice is do I dare change my channel name since I am going in new direction and starting arctic nature series but still going to do my usual celebration stuff when time comes .Just worried about loosing my fateful few followers 😅

Keyword phrases list is great. My question is…doesn’t this change overtime? Viewers might be actively searching certain keywords for a while…but it might dwindle after a bit. If you didn’t make a video in that timeframe…you kind of missed the boat. So how long do you think you should keep those keyword phrases in your list? Or should you retest those terms to see if it’s still searched…before waisting time making a video once that ship has sailed ⛵️
