Somebody at Porsche figured there are about 2500 elderly man-children out there who saw the original live on TV in the '80s when they were 20, fell in love, and did well enough for themselves in the following 38 years to drop a quarter mil on reliving that dream. I Love the fact that produce decided to make a modern safari 911 themselves. While $233, 000 is definitely a LOT of money, I was honestly expecting it to be more. It will be interesting to see how much over sticker these cars will sell for used, as is almost always the case with special 911s. If money were truly no object, I would PPF the entire car and make it a frequent driver. I’d just park it when the roads where chem treated during the winter and would leave Porsche at their word about it being able to scale a volcano like their testing photos suggest!
