Here's your Cleveland weather forecast from 3News Senior Meteorologist Matt Wintz:

We're in store for wet weather across Northeast Ohio with rain chances throughout the next several days.

A very persistent yet agonizing, moisture-laden system is forecast to unleash rounds of rain throughout the Midwest through the weekend and early days of May next week.

Most notably will likely be the eventual threat from low-lying flooding and stream and river flooding. As of now, this is not a threat but it could very well be on the horizon as more and more rain falls. The system finally begins to pull away Tuesday into Wednesday with a lingering trough left in its wake. There will be periods of dryness or should I say, a pause in activity. However, just like the eye of a tropical system, oh there's more.

Our driest day in the next 7 days looks to be next Thursday as daytime highs, still below normal, hover around 60 degrees.
