I’m actually glad that it’s a documentary. The biopic can miss the mark a lot of times. Luther’s career deserves a thorough spotlight!

he is to Males, what Whitney is to Females, which is simply the Greatest Male singer of all time. He was so good that he held back a lot, he wasnt a show-off, and what he gave, no one could touch

Can't wait. Hopefully, 2025 will be the year he finally gets inducted in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

I was literally saying to my mom last week “When are we going to get a Luther documentary?” And here it is!

Luther along with Michael, Prince, Elvis, Whitney deserves a movie. He was clearly a star in the music industry.

As a number 1 Luther fan I only saw him one time in person. Everytime he started to sing I jumped out of my seat and screamed. At first every one around me was giving me the side eye, as in lady please sit down and be quiet, but after a song or two they gave up and said leave her be, she really, really loves Luther. Miss you Luther, forever and for always 😢❤.

I still smile when I hear the intro to "Never Too Much." Sweet memories of Luther, Frankie Beverly, and many yesterdays ago❤

There has never been a documentary or anything celebrating Luther Vandross's legacy. Nearly 20 years after he died, his music is still a godsend. I love how brilliant the songs still are. Gentle at the heartstrings, but beautiful from the voice at hand. R.I.P. Luther.
