C6 Z06 (silver) vs C6 ZR1 (camera car)

1/2 mile drag race Corvette ZR1 vs Corvette Z06.

ZR1 is stock with ehxaust
Z06 has Vararam intake, valvetrain, cam, longtubes, ZR1 mufflers, tune

For people who didn't read the description, the Z06 is not stock. It basically has full bolt ons, cam, and tune.

Love it. I’m a HUGE C6 ZR1 fan. Till death. But that C6 Z06 with the 7 liter, and those mods. He was probably over 600 WHP as well. Probably over the ZR1s rating. This was cool to see, like another said in the comments. I can buy with confidence now

At the end of the day both of those cars are amazing ZR1 has a supercharger put a head in cam an intake manifold and a tune 590 horsepower to the wheels is enough to beat a ZR1 now if you put a supercharger on a Z06 it's pretty much over but the Z06 and ZR1 C6 are legendary can't go wrong with either

Owned both ac6 zr1 and a c6 z06 and both great cars.

The only thing about a C6 Z06 is the gear ratio . 5th is too tall and far apart from 4th .. 6th is pretty much useless .
ZR1 has a perfect 1-6 ratio

I'd take the Z06 over the ZR1 anyday. Huge price diff. Even with the Z's mods, its still cheaper.

Just boils down to how deep your pockets are, personally I like the looks of the ZR1 better but shoot for 30-40$k z06 all day, ovi, but if I had $70k ish I’d take the ZR1.

So the C6 Z06 here is probably around 550-580hp at the crank. The ZR1 is 638hp…The lighter car with less power wins.

And Add Full Bolt Ons And trust me it will not be the same race

The Zr1 could smoke that thing with more power. In my opinion I prefer the ls9 since with the Ls7 you have to worry about the heads

you failed to mention was the ZR1 had a passenger as well. stock vs stock, ZR1 takes this hands down. the ZR1 did quite well considering what it was up against.

A C7 ZR1 beats a C7 Z06 10 out of 10.

A C6 ZR1 beats a C6 Z06 5 out of 10.

I would take a C6 Z06 over a C6 ZR1 all day everyday.
