Catholics don't worship anyone except for GOD (Father, Son & the Holy Spirit). Catholics just ask saints to pray for them to GOD.

Mary takes centre stage in the majority of catholic buildings. Mary is always the mother figure and Jesus the baby which shows authority over Jesus. You can't pray for Mary to intercede with keeping Jesus in your heart, it's impossible.

First of all, Catholics do not worship Mary. We honor her because she is the mother of Jesus. God himself honored Mary, by finding her worthy to be the mother of His only son. God sent the angel Gabriel to Mary to tell her: ‘Hail, Mary, full of grace! The Lord is with you. Do not be afraid Mary, for you have found favor with God. Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name him Jesus.’ Mary said ‘Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word.’

We honor Mary, because God himself honored her. He chose her out of all the women in the world to bear his son.

Why does the priest who listens to the sinner’s sins during confessional ask for a donation in exchange for expiation? Why does the priest sometimes ask for double the donation in exchange for the sinner being able to have a future sin forgiven or expiated?

Just last week there was a story in Utah of a 26 year old admitting to murdering an elderly couple and stealing their credit cards during a confessional. The Priest during confessional asked for a $1, 000 donation by credit card in exchange for forgiving the sin of murder & theft.
Isn’t this an abuse of a confessional?
During the confessional the priest asked for an additional $1, 000 just in case the sinner wanted to repeat the crime with a second victim.
