This simulation is a project I created in order to learn how to write code for the GPU. I used OpenCL to leverage the general purpose computing power of my GTX 660 TI. Compared to the CPU version, the GPU version runs a staggering 73X faster. I am writing a technical piece on the simulation and how I ported it from the CPU to GPU. I will post a link to the blog article when its live!

That is super cool! I've been playing with parallel programming a bit, and the GPU solutions just crushes what I've been doing. Great work!

This ecosystem simulation looks really cool! I've always loved this stuff. Will probably have to make my own at some point for games.

AMD 480 was able to get 45FPS on x32 speed.
