Traditional Croatian food in Zagreb, Croatia | DELICIOUS Croatian food the LOCALS are eating
We're in Zagreb, Croatia! Zagreb is the capital city of Croatia and is situated inland. Croatia's food culture is very regional and in this 2 part series we aim to show you dishes from Zagreb but also of the surrounding regions.
This video is all about traditional Croatian dishes and eating them in local restaurants. We eat bean stew and ribs and boiled beef at a local spot in the suburbs which features a changing daily lunch menu and then take you to the most popular shop in town for burek. Burek although of Turkish origin is a really popular snack here in Croatia (it harks back to the Ottoman times which explains why you will see this dish in most countries in this region). Lastly we take you for a traditional Croatian lunch of Slavonian Čobanac (Shepherd's stew from the Slavonia region) and Zagrebački odrezak (Croatian cordon bleu). We hope you enjoy this Croatian food tour in Zagreb, Croatia! #croatianfood #croatia #croatianfoodtour

We’re Thomas and Sheena, food and travel fiends. We travel full time, hunting for the BEST local food in the world to showcase via our YouTube videos. Food is a window into a country's culture and one of the most exciting ways to get to know a place.
We're all about eating what and where the locals eat. You won't find food that's been created merely to be social media worthy on here- no rainbow bagels, gold leaf soft serves- just genuine, authentic food that tastes incredible.
From street food to mom and pop restaurants, we want to show you the best and most authentic food we find on our travels.
