Glass jar would be sooo hard to get out lol would of loved to see u get it out lol I use plastic cups for cuttings. Can see roots and it’s easier to get out 👍🏼

Lovely Hydrangea plants there. I've grown cuttings for Hydrangea, Hebe, Buddleia, Spirea & Lavender. Most of these are on my channel header and I made a new Hebe video which shows these cuttings on their journey into big shrubs/plants. Happy Growing :)

where do you place your cuttings, inside or outside and can they root in cold weather outside

Lovely video. Thank you for sharing. Just a couple of things to note. They need drainage and the glass jar does not afford this. And, it will eventually need to be transplanted. The only way to get it out of the jar without possibly damaging the plant, might have to break that jar. Was that your experience? Good growing rates for these young hydrangeas. :)

Someone gifted me a hydrangea last week. It is in a glass pot full of water, with no soil. It has 8-9inch of long leaves and a beautiful flower stem. Do I need to repot it in a pot with soil or it can keep growing in the water jar?
