2 people slashed at Grand Central Terminal on Christmas Eve

A suspect is in custody after two people were slashed at the subway station at Grand Central overnight.

It happened around 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday on a northbound 4/5/6 train platform.

It appears the attacks were random and unprovoked at one of the busier subway stations in the city.

With the national guards that were supposedly deployed in the subway system, how come this suspect wasn't immediately arrested after the first slashing?! Why was he able to perform a second slashing and was only then arrested, especially in Grand Central Terminal?!

"In custody" means nothing...it only means they were picked up and are being processed to be released. Revolving door for criminals in NYC...they all have multiple prior arrests yet keep getting released to do more harm.
