Nice! Thought about doing this on my 97 f150 Lariat..4.6 5 speed. Might just be better to bolt on a supercharger

A lot of people don’t know this but back then SVT actually wanted to make an suv version of the lightning called the thunder. It was pretty much an expedition with a lightning engine

Sounds like the boost bypass valve is closed at idle or the power steering pump is making noise.
