Cool Lawn Whisperer shirt! I spent less than $10 and got same results... People are nuts to spend over $100-200 for one.
2" PVC cut to length, blank end caps, loose cement inside and clips. Thats it. Dragging similar to rolling. Hard to backup though

My yard has a lot of hills and I found the striping roller puts too much strain on the mower. I have a gas mower but It struggles to go up my steep hills so I don't use it often.

Do you think the extra weight from the striping kit will do damage to the motor?

What worries me about using striping weight isn't the battery life, it's the stress on the transmission. So, I only use mine occasionally, when I really want that extra wow factor. One unrelated question: In Utah, when do you stop applying nitrogen in the Fall? Is it a waste to add even quick release N when the grass slows its growth this time of year? I'm in Idaho.

Got one of these for my 22in 60V recycler, works fairly well, but since i picked up a JD 220, i havent used it 🤦 and the 60V is now on leaf duty lol

I have the super recycler ( the one you have there ) and the striper is horrible as I'm sure you will find out, that no matter how well you install it, it will eventually come loose and even change the angle on it. The bracket itself shifts, it's horrible and would not recommend that anyone buy it. The metal clip on the striper itself came loose after barely having it for a year, I contacted toro and they told to send them pics and did nothing about it . Way to stand by your product @toro !
