Hare Krishna prabhuji,
One must control the mind by engaging it constantly in the transcendental loving service of the Lord.

Hare Krishna. Such beautiful words in the purport by dear Srila Prabhupada, the supreme personality of godhead declares that one who doesn't accept the proper treatment to detach the mind from material engagement can hardly achieve success in self realization.
Practicing yoga without mind control is waste of time. 🙏Hare krishna.
Analogy :trying to put fire while putting water

Hare Krishna
Practicing yoga while engaging mind in material enjoyment is like igniting fire while pouring water on it. No yoga without devotional service can achieve the desired result.
