I'm the exact opposite. I cannot read along to an audiobook. I have tried so many times. I get so insanely frustrated because I can read so much faster than I can be read the book so I just get fed up and turn off the audiobook so I can actually read at my own pace, lol. I love all the ways that people have to consume awesome stories.

I read Never Lie by Frida in less than 24hrs! Didn’t expect the twists at the end but it was soooo good!! Thank you for the book recs 🍁🎃🦇👻

I need October to have 100+ days in order to read everything that's on my TBR. 😅 I feel the same about Stalking Jack the Ripper books. I read first two, loved them, and kind of am not interested in all Houdini story. 🤭 I was thinking of jumping straight to Becoming the Dark Prince book, but hate to miss a book in a series. I might add Escaping from Houdini to my never ending October TBR. 🙃

I read noticadia omg I loved it! I’m halfway through anathema and I love it! I couldn’t get into the coven I tried I will have to try again. I never read the book and listened to the audio. I’m not the biggest fan of the audio but so many people seem to like it! I loved one dark window and two twisted crowns so good! Good luck with your tbr!

I was starting to think no one else was doing immersive reading cause its not mentioned alot. Its the only way I read and I love it. I cannot go back to reading books without the audio as well lol

I never read according to the season, just my own vibes 😂 love the concept of reading horror and thrillers but I just wanna read what I feel like so I totally agree on how you feel

I love combining reading with listening to the audiobook at the same time! That’s actually how I read Immortal Dark I just finished it like 2 days ago and I would say power through. I thought it got better but I was pretty interested in it the whole time. Maybe just listen to it?? Also read One Dark Window it’s sooo good! Great list as always. 😊 and I still haven’t read Belladonna either they’re all still sitting on my shelf but I really want to read them in November! Oh and I also read An Education in malice back in March and it was great writing. Hope you like it too. And I got A Dagger And The Flame as my BOTM and hope to read it next month as well. Just too many good ones!

Since you like immersive reading...wondering if you are aware that if you have kindle unlimited and own the Alexa echo, any book on kindle unlimited can be read to you as an audiobook. This is how i read most of my indie books including One Dark Window and Nocticadia! 😊
