the fact that this game is so fucking bad, that I'm getting 120fps consistently in Black Ops 3 has max 1080p settings yet, in CS I'm barely getting >100fps also with a hella lot of frame drops going below 40

These settings do nothing. The reason you cant get fps is because cs2 got rid of multicore rendering.

Never change your Power Plan. There are videos about it & comparisons and it won't give you better performance, in some cases worse.

Dont listen to this guy everything low on cs2 sucks as a person with 240 hour of experience u have to have global shadows on high or very high or u cant see enemy shadow rest are also weird....

how tf u got only 280 fps max with those specs, i have same 3060 but a r7 5800x (16 threads 8 cores) and i get stable 400+ u gotta change nvidia settings or smthn, like i also have the correct settings for competitive gaming as well!!… like high (or medium) shadows and medium ambient occlusion which is necessary if u want to actually be good and have all the info possible, although i’m not sure how much higher fps affects cs 2 in comparison to csgo, i’m trying to find online data about that now…
