It’s so hard getting visibility with shorts nowadays though, but I agree with what you’re saying.

what i recommend is doing long-form and once you grow to 100k subs plus and get from 45k-700k veiws every video you can expand to shorts and pull a ryan trayhan or whatever his last name is (i tend to forget how to spell it) and use shorts to get people hooked to your videos like clips of his penny series and direct the shorts watchers to the penny series if they are intersted in it.

I'm uploading shorts but it seems algorithm has some kind of restrictions or whatever even if i hv 90% 80% audience retention on my almost every video still 😂 they just stop n go dead under 2k views

Hi Sean. It's true that shorts grow certain channels. I uploaded my first short on 2/3 and 2 shorts later my LONG form views DROPPED more than 70%

Do shorts attract the right type of people you want subscribed? I'm worried about getting lots of subscribers from short form, but because none of them have the attention span for a long video my channel will suffer. Does anyone have experience with this? Yesterday I had a short get 1500 views, 3 subscribers, but not one actual video got even a single view.
