What It's Like to Live in Greece 🇬🇷 Greek Island Living in Naxos

In this video we're talking about what it's like to live on a Greek Island (Naxos, Cyclades, Greece)! We've been on Naxos for a week fews now. We're also meeting up with our friends @dabbleandtravel (head over to their channel and subscribe, their video of our day together will be out at a later date).

We've rented a little red Fiat 500 convertible and are road tripping around Naxos today. Our first stop is Agios Prokopios where we walk along the beach. We also stop at Plaka Beach where most things are closed for the season.

Eventually we drive to Hotel Ruins Alyko. There is an old abandoned hotel here that is now covered in amazing street art. We also visit Alyko beach and the cute little chapel next to the beach and ruins.

We say goodbye to Matt and Molly and head out to dinner at To Elliniko for a nice Greek meal of Saganaki, zucchini croquettes and moussaka.

We live in Kassiopi (Corfu) for 8 months of the year during the season as we have 4 apartments there, we rent 3 out and live in the other one. We love life in Greece, but also love to come back to the UK in the Winter where we also have a house and where our 2 sons live. You must visit Kassiopi if you haven't ever been, it's beautiful

When I saw you having the Greek yogurt and honey it made me smile. We were in Naxos in June/July and I had Greek yogurt with fruit and honey every morning! We have been going to Naxos every year since 2015. I’m Greek and my husband and I got married there at the small church in St. George. Our wedding planners are also Canadian/Greek and live in Naxos. We have met so many wonderful people there who are now our friends and look forward to going every year. Enjoy your time there. How long will you be there?

Hello, 8 days ago I was also staying on Naxos island for a few days and I also stayed in the same street as you because I recognized The Training Center in your video. My apartment was directly opposite the training centre. nice video

Small Greek churches are built by the family on the land they are built on. But legally when a family builds a church it then becomes a public space, meaning you can go unto any church in Greece. Love your videos guys.
