For 1.25 million, it does have more character than most modern apartment for the same price in NY.

“Completely untouched” and “renovated” are polar opposites.

I’m actually surprised at the price is not as high as I thought it would be. Beautiful apartment I must admit

"Completely untouched"
"Preserved in time"
"Actually been renovated"
This is why people don't like estate agents.

I believe the “office” off the kitchen actually were the maid’s quarters. Back in the day they lived in the home with their employer in a space off the kitchen. They had their own private bathroom so they didn’t use the same bathroom as their employer. It was off the kitchen so they had direct access to their work without being seen often.

This is really interesting. It would be cool to see more of these really unique places instead of always just super expensive luxury condos/apts.

Only apartment you have ever presented who is actually worth the money considering everything

That’s crazy that they had flatscreen tvs in 1909 🤯

This apartment is worth the money, better than that billionaire row penthouse that had no character. I love pre war buildings so vintage and classy.

This is stunning. I hope whoever buys it keeps it this way.

Beautiful! So happy everything isn't renovated to look modern. A mix of vintage & modern is beautiful. This is so elegant!

This video is the closest that most Americans will ever get to such an apartment. The American dream is reserved today for the lucky few.

My heart is just melting seeing this. Such a sanctuary away from the world.

I visited my Aunt Mary Drago Shultz in the mid 80's, she had an amazing apartment like this, that she got from her mother. 2br, maids room, 3ba, kitchen, dining room seated 16, living room overlooked Broadway and the Hudson River, from the bedrooms you could see Central Park, there was a doorman and it was across from Zabar's Deli. I loved it!!

I stayed in an appartment almost identical to this in Montreal. I felt like I was living in the early 1900s every day - a really cool experience for a history nerd!

I swear I was expecting $10-$20 million for some reason -
The price seems SO low and reasonable
