Awesome review. Just bought a CRV and everything you've said is dead on the money. Speaking of money, I actually prefer the manual hatchback and front seat adjustments. The CRV comes with so many electronic bells and whistles, I get nervous about the consequences of an electrical system snafu. Personally, I like my vehicles to have as few unnecessary built-in electronic devices as possible just from a long-term maintenance cost point of view. That way, I have a chance to do any repairs myself; that's not an option for me with electronics (yet). But then I'm 64 and my CRV replaced the 2000 Toyota Camry Solara I'd been driving since I bought it brand new with 8 miles on the odometer (man, that was a good car!) so having a car with additional safety features just makes sense for me.

I bought the CRV LX because it's likely to be the last car I'll ever own and has the right mix of mechanical solidness and electronic safety tech I was looking for. Driving the CRV LS is going to be fun!

Bought CRV Lx last week after driving a "fully loaded, " leather, movie watching in back seat (fancy at time) Honda Pilot for 21 years lol. So Im pleased with some of the new technology for sure. But much of it, part of any new car now, the apps that are present or not dont matter to me personally. Or the importance of no USB port in back seat. Dont like that the electronic parking brake might freeze in cold climates if applied. But that's a modern technology thing and not a Honda thing. I love my base car but would have paid a couple of grand more for leather and a CD player lol but that not a sustainable option lol. Great video. Love Honda based on experience.

I was going to get this crv but I cant live wiith the oil consumption problem. The turbo's can't stand them. So rather than spending the extra 4k for the hybrid, I will just do the civic with the 2.0. going to test drive one this week after xmas.

I'd rather have steel rims without the covers.
