Great video, thanks! Would you the exact opposite to get it to stay up if one side snapped back a bit more than the opposite side? Also I have another straw hat that has become much more flimsy than before. Is there a stiffner that can be used in straw?

Is there a method where I can where the hat with the brim up or down?

There are times when I want to wear the brim down, it has a tendency to snap back up. What can I do to prevent this?

Steam the whole hat. A snap brim is supposed to be able to snap. Up or down. Hat should always be stored with the brim snapped up.
