The "bunny ears error" is mentioning the bunny hat reward for completing the 2017 roblox egg hunt. Apparently, the person designing it injected some scripts that allowed boosts such as increased speed, higher jumping, etc. I believe that the developers of Blox Fruits were the ones that told Roblox about the scripts in the bunny ears. EDIT: I said that before seeing the part where Scriptide explains to Albert about the situation. Now I feel stupid.

Hi, former game "developer" here. Albert said something that interested me at 3:44.

At the time of this story, I worked with a very small indie company that no longer exists, since the only project it had was canceled. It was small to the point where if I had a question or wanted to know something, I could ask the founder/my boss directly, because there were only about ten to twenty-five people working on this. I don't know how any big companies work, since this was one of the dozen or so indie games I helped make before retiring from the field.

Basically, every so often we'd all have a meeting and look at what everyone made, was making, working on, etc. We'd piece everything together and see how it was coming along, and this would happen until it was finished. If someone put something dangerous in the game, which I actually have had to deal with before, the only people that would have a way of knowing would be the people near them. I believe that's how that works-I worked in a different part of the company. I make models and animate and such, I don't code or anything. I'll tell you one thing for sure, and that the reason that the bunny-ears guy got caught is because there was better communication in Roblox in 2017. The only reason I stayed in the field as long as I did was because of the people around me and the good communication between the different teams. Bigger companies have more people, and often have poorer communication than indie/smaller companies, and if/when the communication is poor, more things slip through the cracks.


So, yeah. I thought someone would find my ramblings interesting lol. I don't really want to say the company I mentioned's name, because I dug through the internet to find traces of it and for some reason it disappeared off of the face of the earth, so I don't really have a reason to name it. I don't want to bring up the other games, since I only worked on them a little, and also my name is attached to them. For privacy reasons I don't want to share more than I already did. So.... bye I guess

(I also wanted to add that I only have worked for small companies, so my experience probably isn't the most trustworthy, even if I had more of it.)

So the bunny ear error was when a roblox staff put script into the 2017 egg hunt event item called the bunny ears, the bunny ears were meant to be obtained to make people faster and jump higher then before. But the staff put script into the ears which made players be able to do things they normally shouldn't be able to do.

For people who don’t know blox fruit had a thing called “races” and you could upgrade it to level 3. They had a race named mink/rabbit v3 which used the luckymaxer bunny ears. Lucky got mad they used his ears and then hacked the game

When you think about it more someone could have done something really bad in their past and you would never know. Those announcements makes me think what the blox fruit developers did and how they are tied in with a Roblox moderator getting exposed

I was in the game and got a full recording of the incident it wasn’t that bad it was resolved after about 25-30 mins of spamming in the announcements. I bet it wasn’t that serious. The admins haven’t announced it in the group but I think it’s on social media somewhere. It was fun though.
