What Do Anglicans Believe?

I wanted to learn about Anglicanism so I went to St. George's Anglican Church in Las Vegas and spent the day with Father Gordon Hines. His church is a part of the Anglican Province of Christ the King.

“Heresy involves either the denial of Christ’s divinity or the denial of Christ’s humanity.” Wow...that was good. Thank you.

Coolest. Evangelical. Ever. Seriously I’ve never seen an evangelical Protestant that was this open minded, respectful, and eager to learn about different dominations and faiths. Major props to TMBH guy.

I’m starting to reconsider my ignorant criticism of other faiths that I know very little about.

As A Pastor I had many many many decades ago said to me "That which unites us (Jesus) is so much greater than that which divides us."

I knew Gordon's Grandfather. He was responsible for a whole generation of High Church Anglo-Catholic priest in Dallas. I am glad to see that his tradition is still alive.

the priest explained very clearly and humbly..like the Roman Catholic priest in another episode. i couldnt say the same for the Greek Orthodox episode. i am really impressed by this Anglican priest's knowledge and ability to explain. there is almost a kind of silence in the way he speaks.

When I saw the length of this one, I was worried I was going to get bored but this was incredibly interesting.

Father Hines' voice is very relaxing and calming. I could listen to his voice all day long

I'm a Catholic. I've often wondered the difference between us and anglicans as I'd noticed over the years so many similarities between us. Very cool, thank you for your time/efforts & sharing it all!!!

I recently got confirmed in the Anglican Church in North America. One of the best decisions I could have made for my faith. The liturgy and tradition of the church are so rich and I think that Matt did a good job of asking the right questions here. I always love these videos please keep them coming.

This is a parish in the Anglican Province of Christ the King (APCK) -- a traditionalist Anglo-Catholic jurisdiction. Great to see you give them a visit.

Agios Giorgios! Amin! This segment just reminds me how much we are brothers and sisters in Christ. Love from an Orthodox...

You should attend a service from each church you go to, I would be very fascinated to see all this in practice! Great job, Matt! This was amazing

I love the way you bring humble interest to these interviews. The result of combining your own knowledge with the gentle interview style results in excellent insight into the variations on a theme of Christianity which good, God-fearing men have set up in pursuing their best way they can relate with their God.

Hey Matt, this video was mega confusing to me when I saw the thumbnail, cause as an Anglican, I’m definitely very Protestant. You definitely made a good move in going to a High Anglican Church cause that really is what original Anglicanism is, but yeah they really differ a lot. I live in Sydney Australia and we have a joke around here that Christians disagree with atheists, protestants disagree with Catholics, baptists disagree with presbyterians, but in Sydney, anglicans disagree with Anglicans. So yeah, Anglicanism, as is my knowledge, is veryyyy up to the diocese, so it varies a lot. Also the fact he kept saying mystery is really different to us. I’d love to talk more about our differences if you’re curious!
