The thing that struck me about this game is that Leeds werent hitting them on the counter or playing really defensively, they were genuinely playing man for man against chelsea and smashed them, they constantly looked more threatening going forward and looked more stable defending than chelseas players, Marsch has actually done an incredible job at Leeds so far, its like theyve retained the stamina and workrate instilled into them by Bielsa but now they have actual defensive stability that they so lacked last season

Chelsea were not only thrashed by Leeds but proper clobbered. 😂

Leeds absolutely battered us. They were incredible. We've been horrible since Xmas last year! Maybe now people will stop calling the non TT fans "plastics". The football is slow, boring and predictable. Playing this style is only good for cup competitions and no team will ever win the league like this so long as Klopp/Pep are here!!

Someone tell Tuchel that Leeds had 6 shots on target to Chelsea's 3 shots, so I guess that had nothing to do with Leeds either? 😅 😅 😅

I love how Tuchel tries to discredit Leeds win because he lost to an American. Chelsea was in shambles because Leeds pressed the crap out of them

Tuchel is a sore loser, to sit there and give Leeds no credit by saying they only won because we lost is shocking. I'd be worried having him as a head coach

Tuchel doesn't want to admit that the style/energy Leeds displayed, hurt them badly, because all the teams will play like that against them and Chelsea could be conceding 2-3 goals a game without reply.

Absolutely classless from Tuchel again .

Tuchel failed to mention the back pass and Mendy's error were forced because of the pressing of Leeds.
The foul for the second goal was Roca winning the ball back on the counter press.
Sterling missed a good chance after 30 seconds, beyond that, Chelsea created very little and were caught offside multiple times.

They don’t use lukaku last season when he’s off a great season with inter, make him feel unwanted ect, he leaves ok, then in this game against Leeds when their down, they start swinging balls into the box for Sterling and havertz to meet? What is this?

Tuchel is deflecting and making excuses. Chelsea going to struggle to make top four.

What about how well Leeds played? The world does not revolve around top 4 clubs.

Apparently Chelsea had to get the mega bus up to Leeds 😂🤣😂🤣😂

Leeds completely outplayed them and they could have scored 5 goals just as easily. What Tuchel was sayin is complete nonsense.

He said nothing to do with style and running yet that Mendy mistake was a clear result of pressing and outrunning everyone.

He needs a reality check that coach, he really does, Chelsea was simply outrun and outplayed. The best chance they had was in the first minute of the game.

It wasn’t an “own goal”
Tommy. Your keeper got picked and then no look shot into the back of your net!!

I said this last week but Chelsea tactically outmanoeuvred Spurs, especially first half, and I thought that was almost as good as they could play, they were at home and dominated midfield but not really much of a cutting edge. They didn't really have a flood of chances. Spurs were curtailed and displayed some fight and still managed to get a draw playing pretty poorly. I couldn't imagine Chelsea playing much better; there's not enough up-front. They completely switched off at the back for the goal a few times and a lot of mistakes in the backline even after three games. This season is very open and every team seems to play progressive football with good movements in midfield. Interested to see if Chelsea get a striker because they are very short there.

Leeds we’re on fire. This league is the most competitive in the world, if you don’t turn up against any team in this league you potentially have a cricket score.

Apart from when you play Villa haha
