what is really needed is the ability to set the angle of the bounding box or scaling angle scaling has more control. imagine rotation a rectangle and the bounding box is reset, now it's impossible to scale it uniformly. I would like to scale at a different angle but there is no way to set the bounding box or even the angle of the scale tool. There are probably expensive third-party plugins for this but it should be part of the application in a perfect world.
