My ancestors were Germanic tribes and Viking and many of the decendants of Germanic tribes and Vikings have some sort of Native blood flowing through our veins because they came to the Americas way before Columbus and tried setting up colonies, but the Native tribes either kicked them out or pushed them far north to what is now Canada. I learned that from a Native man a long time ago, he had blue eyes. My son is part Navajo, my husband's cousin is Cherokee and I think Black foot, and I've had many people in my life who were Native. Everywhere I have ever lived has had a Native reservation, and no I don't like that their lands were stolen and don't condone anything done from the past, but not all us "white people" are ignorant and some of us do share the blood. Our lineages are not always straight forward because our ancestors, including yours, fucked each other and did intermingle peacefully, we just aren't taught this because the powers that be want us to fight each other so we don't fight against them.
