Today we walkthrough DJI's Virtual Flight Simulator app to see it offers to new FPV pilots. The great news is, you don't have to own the drone! You can use a third party bluetooth remote or the touchscreen to fly.

So you recovered nicely from the other nights "pile on Billy" live stream! You're a good sport and one of the few that "got it" regarding this drone. Keep on trucking. Thanks for the GREAT VIDEOS! 73 Mike

Great timing! I was looking for a video like this yesterday

Great video! I seem to have trouble in that resuming a practice run after turning it off makes it so I have to start from scratch; is there a resume button?

If you've never flown anything before flight sim will help greatly with muscle memory and help prevent crashing... great video!

Thanks Billy, you're a genus and to the point, as I only had to watch this video twice!

Great review mate
Does the wheel on the remote simulate the gimbal up and down motion within the sim ??

Great graphics. They should put in rings like Superman 64! That should totally be a course here.

Thank you very much, Bill, really enjoyed it. Do you know if the Tello Bluetooth remote controller will work with this DJI FPV Simulator App?

The sensitivity on manual mode is super high. Is there a way to lower it?

Sensational, very well explained and detailed. I have a DJI Mini2 and I already have fun filming and photographing. But I will definitely put this new drone on my wish list. I saw your video on first flight impressions and unboxing. What else comes ahead of DJI ??

The idea of a flight sim for FPV quads is so you understand the basic controls (throttle yaw & pitch). Skipping the sim step is like getting into a 500HP manual car without any driving experience at all. You will just crash it fast and hard, even with all the driver/flight aids. So always practice on the sim before you fly any type of FPV. I don’t want this hobby getting banned because someone flies into a google building on their first flight 😂

Thanks for the great video. Has DJI made any progress and/or comments on making an M1 Apple Silicon Mac app? Also, have they committed to adding simulators for DJI Mini 3? And, lastly, can you pair with the DJI Controller from the Mini 3 Pro [the RC one with screen]. I have had 3 drones [Mavic, Spark and now Mini 3] but am too afraid to learn and experiment in the REAL world. I'd love to experiment on my Mac [but iPhone /iPad] could work too. But I'm not interested so much in FPV as I am in DJI Mini 3 flying. What are your words of wisdom and what is DJI telling you about Mini 3 simulation and using Mini 3 RC remote etc? Thanks for any info. - Eric ZORK Alan & Sweetie [ Professional Poets & Bed Vloggers ]

My first experience with manual mode was on this app with the touchscreen. I’m relieved to hear that it’s awful cuz I’ve been practicing for a few days and was getting discouraged.
