DJI Virtual Flight Simulator App Experience 'Review'

My reaction to flying the official DJI FPV Drone simulator app, VirtualFlight now with Playstation 4 & Xbox controller support. Full manual, sport, and normal modes. Something just for fun! The app has some (funny) bugs & the control of the sim drone has a naturally heavy feel. Manual mode is tough to fly!

Hey man, I saw you on the live stream last night, so I thought I'd check out your channel. This is hilarious, I better find the mode to go right through trees, because I've hit a few in my 3 flights with the DJI FPV. I find the motion sickness a bit much on this thing

I have tried swapping between the FPV drone and the Avata and I cannot for the life of me, tell any difference in the controls at all. Anyone else feel that way?

In manual mode I think the garage at least for me is an absolute hell. Crashing over and over into the floor, the ceiling and everything else is absolutely insane! I been practicing on this simulator and except for just practicing in the biggest map the city area, which is the best one to learn with when you seem to have no other choice, I hope the time spent will pay off when I do manual mode with my new Avata.

Hello. Great video but... i'm having some troubles with Manual Mode. When i push the right stick (throttle) it doesnt accelerate, its impossible to fly. Any tip? I'm flying in Mode 2

In the parking garage you have the gimbal set to max upward angle which means that to fly with the horizon level you have to be 58 degrees forward pitch. In this state, to maintain altitude you’re also going to introduce a ton of forward thrust. I’d have to imagine it is absolutely absurd to try to fly that configuration in real life in a parking garage setting so you probably aren’t used to it, thus making it feel nearly impossible. It would have been much more manageable with a smaller gimbal angle.

I’m new to FPV myself so I’m struggling a bit with the fine controls. I hope you don’t take it the wrong way but it makes me feel a little bit better that you had some trouble controlling it too, albeit hampered by the controls some 😂🤣😝

I was looking around to see if there were any expo or sensitivity settings to change in the sim but it doesn’t look it yet. The throttle is way to sensitive at mid-stick for beginners (and even intermediates) in my opinion. What do you think? Would the best FPV pilots actually be able to fly the courses they designed in there (with some practice and leaving the settings as is) without too much problem?
