This a step-by-step video on how to aseptically was your hands for IV sterile compounding.

The rigorous procedures of the aseptic hand washing is a requirement of the USP chapter 797 for all sterile IV compounding personnel. The reasons for these guidelines are to avoid compromising the sterility of the compounded preparations through the introduction of microorganisms that can cause serious complications for the patient recipient. In light of the fact that touch contamination is the major source of contamination during sterile compounding, these overarching principles are well warranted. Therefore the aseptic hand washing is a very essential and vital aspect of sterile compounding and the IV technician must demonstrate dexterity in its process.

I'm researching and I see that becoming IV compounding certified in Arkansas is not likely. it makes sense seeing as though in order to work as a cpht all that is required is being registered in the state but NOT CERTIFIED AS A TECH. I just found a national certificate class but it's based out of Texas.
