I wanted to make this video off the cuff because I was just thinking about it. Quite busy with personal stuff. Thanks, everyone!

my sister, a very devout muslim, always says that her main goal in life is to die, because true pleasure lies in the afterlife. it's truly sad how religous people throw away their freedom and happiness for a false promise in the "afterlife".

AP comparing Muslims to North Koreans.

I actually find no fault in his reasoning.

Ex convert here. Was a muslim for 15 years and left about 2 years ago. I agree with this. Youre always told to have sabr (patience/perseverance) as a muslim, and this is stressed so much because everyone knows that deep inside No one enjoys living according to the islamic rules...

Just imagine how depressing it is to do body exercise to pray 5 times a day, never to smile, live under constant hate propoganda regarding other religion, being in company of people with depleted vibration to end up like a religious bully

This video makes no sense whatsoever. Sheikh Yasir Qadhi says that ex-Muslims are miserable after leaving Islam. So how can AP say that Muslims aren't happy? AP is just mad because he's so miserable and has to spend all his time attacking the only possible source of happiness.

"Do not laugh a lot. Much laughter kills the heart." --- if Mo didn't want us to laugh, then why does he say such ridiculously silly things about which it is almost impossible not to laugh...?

In University, a lot of South Asian kids (Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis) hung out with each other because we were united by the common culture, cinema, music, cuisine, etc. (and also language, in the case of Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi).

The home-life stories of kids from Muslim families were always the most brutal and horrifying.

As an ex-Muslim myself, and a female, I only felt happiness once I left. I grew up not wanting to go to neither Heaven nor Hell. Hell is creepy, but Heaven is a... you know already. So no, I wasnt happy at all.

To be honest and as an ex-muslim living in a muslim country i can confirm that I feel better and even more excited to take advantage of every second am living, not blaming anyone or any imaginary sky friend for the mistakes I did or will do, instead am so happy knowing that my future is in my hand not in anyone's else to control it .
Live life/be happy

Ex Muslim here, I was not happy when I am a Muslim. I have always dislike hijab, and 5 times prayer because it's so annoying.
Whoever says Muslims are happier than non Muslim is just a big fat lie, they lie to themselves to convince themselves.

Here in Germany we say "not too bad" when we are not really feeling fine, but we don't want to complain about it. It is a polite way to tell someone that you are not fine, but you don't want them to worry about you.

I grew up in a pretty diverse neighborhood in New Jersey: Jews, Italians, Chinese (1st generation and 2nd/3rd generation) and South Asians who were mostly Hindus but who could also be muslim, also could be 1st/2nd or 3rd generation. I got along pretty okay with all the Jewish and Italian kids, AND the Chinese and Indian 3rd generation kids who were pretty much fully Americanized. The Hindu kids who were the first in their families to speak English were the most timid, but they weren't unfriendly. The muslim kids were the most awkward and cold to talk to. They only kept to themselves and were never anywhere near as friendly as their Hindu counterparts who often spoke the same language as them. As a 10/13 year old in the US (not trying to sound mean), but you see a bunch of weird hats and the kids who wear them all come from similar places (India/Pakistan/Bangladesh) and you wonder why some are friendlier than others. Now this video explains a lot more.
