This is a really nice mat cutter. Very easy to use right out of the box. It's a great value!

This is a good video.  I get nice sharp corners with it even without an overcut.

i could not get the mat knife to work at all!!!! had to use a hard ware utlity knife!

I thought it was a good video, but I'm surprised he didn't explain that it is better to better to slightly over-cut each corner (i.e.: cut 1/16" past the lines measuring the opening.) The overlapped cuts can't be seen, and they ensure that you end-up with clean, sharp looking corners.

Can this be used to cut styrene? Specifically Evergreen styrene products.
